About Korean choreographer Jay KIM
The basis of his dance style is choreography, which means creating movements that fit the music without any boundaries of a genre. He started dancing with breakdancing, but as he began his career as a choreographer, he focused on storytelling by expressing emotions, delivering messages through choreography. He was inspired mainly by ballet, modern dance, jazz, Korean dance, musicals, as well as b-boying, hip-hop and K-pop, and he created his own dance style by applying each element.

About Steps With Jay Program for K-POP dancers
Jay has spent a lot of time trying to understand the problems K-pop dancers are facing.
After meeting K-pop dancers in 119 cities across 58 countries, he was finally able to grasp their needs. He saw talented dancers stuck in the same place despite attending numerous dance workshops and spending a long time in the dance industry. Therefore, he decided to create a special training program to help them develop their abilities.
Launched in 2024 under the name ‘Steps with Jay‘ his intensive dance program has held successful events in Azerbaijan, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Slovakia, Poland, Canada, and Germany. It is gradually expanding its scope of activities.
Our goal is to improve dancers’ sustainability and turn them into independent artists: « We help you grow and find your path to success. We teach you how to learn and give you the keys to shine. » We like to say: « We don’t want to see you again! » because this means: « You have succeeded! If you are attending plenty of dance classes and feel you aren’t improving, or if you want to give a boost and speed up your dancing ability, including learning how to learn and improve by yourself, this program is for you. »
