MEET JAY KIM

Jay Kim is a top choreographer and dancer who has worked with artists like Luhan, Jay Park, and The Boyz. Former instructor at famous studios  1Million Dance Studio and Millennium Dance Studio in Singapore, he has also trained talents at Loen Entertainment and Forest Entertainment.

He has traveled to 59 countries and 124 cities, sharing his passion for dance. Jay has also served as a judge for prestigious competitions like World of Dance, Battlegrounds Philippines, and the UDO Asia-Pacific Championships.

He is a regular presence at K-POP festivals, having recently participated in events like the K-POP World Festival in Ireland, the K-POP Nordics Festival in Sweden, the All India K-POP Contest in India, as well as festivals in Latin America and Africa. Thanks to his expertise and charisma, Jay Kim has become a major figure on the international K-POP scene.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

REGISTRATION

As the number of students per class is limited, it is compulsory to choose your classes in order to register. Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment of the course fee. Confirmation of registration is sent upon receipt of the deposit. For young dancers (Age<12), we could request the dance background.

OUTFITS
Clean NON-MARKING Sneakers: in case of marking, dancer will be allowed to continue the class in socks only.

 IMAGE RIGHTS

Unless otherwise stated in pre-registration form, Dear My Korea Association and Jay Kim reserve all rights to use the images photographed or filmed during the courses for their communication. Dancers are not allowed to take any pictures nor video without Jay Kim authorisation. Sessions are not autorised to public.

REDUCED PRICE

The reduced rate applies to Dear My Korea members (except for UKK K-POP Community weekend and Printemps Culturel de Neuchâtel AWA classes: special rates ). see how to become a member

CANCELLATION

Cancellation is not possible unless a medical certificate is presented, in which case the paid amount will be refunded in full.

Except in case of force majeure, if the session is cancelled by Dear My Korea, the session will be fully refunded.

INSURANCE

Each trainee must be personally insured. Dear My Korea cannot be held liable for any bodily or material injury caused or suffered by a trainee. Dear My Korea declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft.

INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT

International payment has to be made in CHF only, all fees must be supported by the emitter of the payment.

Are the classes the same?

No, all classes are different.

What does « all levels » mean?

You are fond of K-POP dance and you are dancing everyday in front of your mirror, this workshop is for you. Or you have basic knowledge in dance (could be Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, K-POP, etc…..) and you would like to try K-POP dance or Choreo, you are more than welcome. If you have never danced before, please make sure the workshop mentions « TOTAL BEGINNERS FRIENDLY », unless  it could be a little bit challenging 😉

Is masterclass « all levels » harder that K-POP workshop « all levels »?

No it is not: first it depends on your dance background. You could be more comfortable in one or in the other. But whatever your level is, you have to set your goals according to your level. Our goal is that you will spend a good moment improving your dance skills, and this is what you will experience 🙂
